We are so glad you are here!
Our team, Living Well, has established a business that aims to empower individuals in achieving personal, professional, and financial well-being. We believe in a collaborative and advice-driven approach that emphasizes forward-thinking. As a team of financial planning experts who place a strong emphasis on behavior, we integrate overall wellness to help our clients move beyond the perception of being well-prepared to knowing that they are in the best possible position to succeed. Regardless of where you may be in your journey, our ultimate objective is to educate, organize, and equip you for a brighter future.
Step 1: Setting up your eMoney profile
You will be receiving an email from eMoney that will ask you to create your own login credentials and grant you access to your Client eMoney Dashboard. Please keep in mind that this link will expire after seven days if you have not set up your account.
Pro Tip -- To access eMoney in the future, use the link in the top right corner of our team page. DO NOT GOOGLE EMONEY, as you will be directed to the incorrect site.
Step 2: Connecting Your Accounts
Once you are logged into eMoney, you will then be prompted to connect all of your financial accounts that you have online access to. This will include bank accounts, investment accounts, and retirement accounts, as well as mortgages and any other loans. Connecting your accounts will allow us to always have up-to-date values when working on your financial plan.
Need some help? Download our Add Accounts Help Guide.
Step 3: Inventory Checklist
Download our "Inventory Checklist." This checklist highlights all of the information from your financial life that we are going to ask you to gather for us.
As you compile these documents, please share them with us in your eMoney Vault so that all of your documents are in one secure place that only yourself and our team has access to. Download our Desktop Vault Overview for pointers. If you're uncomfortable utilizing the Client eMoney Dashboard that's ok. Reach out and let us know and we will help you navigate the best way to get the documents over to us for review.
Step 4: Expenses
One of the most important pieces of data that we will be requesting from you is an estimate of your expenses. In order to get us an accurate representation of your expenses, we have a couple of options:
1. Download our "Cash Flow Budget Worksheet." This worksheet will walk through all of your current expenses line by line.
2. Determine the expenses that come directly out of your checking account and add that amount to the average of your last 12 monthly credit card statements.
Reminder: Once you have completed this worksheet please share it with us in your eMoney Vault.
Step 5: Values Exercise
Please complete the following Values Exercise, which will give us insight into what you value most in life and will guide us throughout the process.
Step 6: Schedule your follow-up meeting
Once you have completed steps one through five, it’s time to book our next meeting. From there it's time for our team to get organized and start building your financial plan!
